Unbreakable love – Love Lock

Today is Valentine’s day. Traditionally it  is the day to surprise the ones you secretly admire with chocolates, roses and a card. Already dating your real love? Maybe this is a nice idea to show your unbreakable love for each other.   Unbreakable love- Love Lock A love lock  is a padlock which sweethearts lock to a bridge or fence to symbolize their love. Let’s go pink! Europride 2016

Love and be loved! From July 23rd until August 7th the Gay Pride will be held in the city center of Amsterdam, coloring Amsterdam pink! Various festivities will be taking place in the beautiful city during this time, one of which is the Canal Pride and will be celebrated on the 6th of August.   On this Saturday, the boats will start their route in the Westerdok at 14.00h, move through the Prinsengracht, Amstel, Nieuwe Herengracht into the Oosterdok where the festivity ends at around 18.00h. Our review on 2014!

Part of being a true Dutchman is making lists of everything we do. Groceries, our goals for next year and also of everything we loved the most about last year. We would like to take part in this Dutch-tradition with our own review (we really like reviews) of 2014! Nr 3. Tripadvisor 2013 we ended on place number 8 out of the 344 hotels on Tripadvisor. Houses in Amsterdam – Weird and Wonderful

Exploring Amsterdam you can find the world’s narrowest house and a house with many heads. There are many wonderful buildings in Amsterdam. Nowadays Amsterdam is famous for its brickwork, but this wasn’t always this way.
